Saw Shop Public House

Kelseyville, CA, 95451
The Saw Shop Public House is located in the big little country town of Kelseyville, CA. It was originally a private home bought from a Sears Roebuck catalog and built in 1931. It served as the residence for several Kelseyville families until it was converted to Cooke’s Saw Shop & Paint Store in the ‘70s. This business existed until early 2000 when a local entrepreneur bought the property and converted to the Saw Shop Gallery & Bistro. Serving the community as a restaurant and icon, it flourished for many years and became the place to go for the community to gather and enjoy a great meal and terrific Lake County wines. In 2019 the name was changed to The Saw Shop Public House to better reflect its role in the community as a gathering space refashioned with an updated personality. Traditionally a Public House is where folks gather to share stories, have a meal and sip a refreshing beverage. Public Houses, or Pubs, are often filled with friendly chatter, laughter and the savory scent of comfort food cooking in the kitchen. Chef Sergio and his team of culinary professionals create hearty scratch-made pub fare utilizing local fresh organic ingredients whenever possible served as brand new culinary concepts while also putting a creative spin on old standards. Our Saw Shop Public House family invites you to join us at our table to experience the best of small town hospitality.
